WallCooler is a secure VPN service that facilitates remote network access with great ease. The user can connect to a remote resource or server via a DNS/Netbios name or a proxy IP address. With the help of this software the user can easily access any computer in the remote LAN with remote desktop and access remote files, shared folders and resources like drives, printers and much more.
It has bi-directional functionality and the ends do not act as servers, and the application works hand in hand with the Windows System Service starting automatically Windows during boot-up and the user doesn’t need to be logged in. It supports multiple locations, and simultaneous connections. It also compresses all the transferred data whenever possible, and improves throughput drastically up to 10 times on uncompressed data.
Whenever the application fails to establish a direct connection to the remote side via the Internet, connections go through relay servers, and the program automatically relays data as per requirement. The premium version of the application incorporates the Premium relay server, which guarantees sustained traffic of more than 1Mbps per user. |
